Laos

Laos is a landlocked country in Southeast Asia, bordered by Burma and People's Republic of China to the northwest, Vietnam to the east, Cambodia to the south and Thailand to the west. Its capital city is Vientiane. Laos has become more popular with tourists among whom it is known for its relaxed style of living. I have been to Laos about 5 years ago. Laos is the place that people live as simple live. There are not many department store but they have good environment. There are nice and kind people. The official tourism slogan is "Simply Beautiful", and I do agree with this. Laos’s food is very delicious and the taste is like Thai’s food. Somtum or papaya salad is my favorite Laos food. Laos language is really similar to Thai language. I think Thai people can understand Laos language easily because Laos language is the same as language of North Eastern of Thailand. Laos has many interesting places to go such as waterfall, sight-seeing, temples. I do love Laos because it has beautiful life. Laos people are kind and friendly as same as Thai people.

Happy Tree Friends

Happy Tree Friends is a flash cartoon. It is created by Rhonde Montijo and it's has become popular internet phenomenon. Only after its internet debut in 2000, Happy Tree Friends became an unexpected success, getting over 15 million hits each month, and being shown in film festivals. It's not for young child because the story is about violences. I had see it in Youtube because my friends recommened me to watch it. when I first watched them I think this video are gross and disgusting. Every episode features at least one character's violent and bloody death. The show is nearly free of dialogue; when the characters do speak, their words are severely garbled. Though it is obvious what each character's reaction is, their words can barely be understood. When my mother saw this video, she said to me that " what are you watching ? Are you being crazy ?" I think it is very popular for the one who get angry but I am impressed at the creativity and skill involved in the animation.

I love playing around with different characters and one day I can be the old lady and another day I can be the rock chick. I have given up on choosing one style cause I find that it kills my joy of shopping. I have very few limits when it comes to what I wear and I like to think that I look good in anything. Due to my budget I mostly shop secondhand, make stuff myself or pick up something at my home. I have no complaints because I like that the shortness on cash makes me have to experience and be creative. To me fashion is a way of expressing myself and I love planning new outfits.

Jackass

Jackass is the brainchild of Johnny Knoxville. It is said that back in 1999, when he was still a struggling actor who was writing on the side, he came up with the idea of testing various self defense devices on himself. Unfortunately, the magazines that he tried to sell the idea to didn’t think it would work. It wasn’t until he met with Jeff Tremaine of Big Brother Magazine (not the TV show, but a magazine about skateboarding humor) that he got his break. Tremaine hired Knoxville as a writer and then urged him to make videos of that particular idea.
In my opinion, I think Jackass is a stupid person who do stupid things. I have watched the Jackass clip from Youtube. I think it is really dangerous to do something like that. For example, they close their eyes walking across highway, they do shopping cart racing, etc. It is too risky to do something that not safe your life. They do all the stupid things for their fun. They didn't care what the effects that will come after they do this stupid things. I think that these stupid guys must think that is cool for anyone to see. I want them to use their time in a good way not for something fun.

France

The country where I most want to visit is France. It’s so attractive to many tourists from every part of the world. Actually I am not quite interest in traveling but this place can attract me and make me want to go there. There are many reasons for me why I like this country. The first reason is nice environment. I have seen the view around Paris, the capital city of France. It is very beautiful and different form Thailand. Many Thai people who use to visit there told me that the most beautiful view of Paris is in the night. I want to see it once in a life time. Second reason is nice food. There are many original foods from France that are very popular in many parts of the world. I want to eat one of it there too. And the last reason is nice fashion. As you know many popular designers graduated here. There many popular school of fashion. I likes to in trend. So I want to attend the popular fashion week there, Paris fashion week. I have studied French language so I hope it will help me when I go there.

My Idol

I want to tell you about my idol. My idol is Jui Juis. He is the one man band who performs with one guitar and three mics. He plus a little bit of creative and imagination. I really like his performance. He is an indy musician from Chiang Mai. I like to go for his concert around Chiang Mai. I think he is the real musician. He plays all of the music instruments for his album. He won a contest from Chang Draught Journey to Glastonbury Festival 2007 in England. In 2008 he released 2 EP on his own, and I've got it, too. His song is fantastic. When I missing Chiang Mai and all of my friends, I always listen to his songs. The one reason that I love him, because he is a friendly guy. He never let the fame go into him. He always smile at his fans. I'm the one of his biggest fan too. I can sing all of his songs. All of my friends in Chiang Mai really like him too. He has his own style. He designed his front cover of his album. He is good at drawing, too. I think he can be the role model for teens.

Durian

Durian, the very strong smell fruit but it’s the most favorite fruit for many people. I can say that the best Durian in the world is from Thailand.
In the past, the best Durian orchard is Nonthaburi. Currently, Bangkok is expanded to suburb, Nonthaburi is also needed for lodge. Orchard is developed to be housing and many factories. There still be only some of small orchard which coursed the high price of Durian from Nonthaburi. You may not believe that price of Durian Kan-Yao from Nonthaburi is more than 5,000 baht per each. Some orchard does not bring their product to buy in the market, customer takes order to reserve and take the durian at the orchard.
Now, the popular durian is from Rayong, Chanthaburi, and south of Thailand. Monthong is the most popular with dry meat and smell not so strong. We can export Durian to border country around Thailand. Japanese and Singaporean love durian so much. I would say that Durian is King of fruit. The best one has to produced from Thailand.
